These Terms govern your use of Stop Wasting Handshakes ("the Service"), operated by Impact Leadership Group ("we", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Stop Wasting Handshakes is a networking productivity platform with two products on the same account:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You agree not to:
Paid plans are offered as monthly subscriptions. New users may receive a free trial period; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your account settings or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If you purchase through the iOS App Store, the subscription is managed in your Apple ID account and Apple's terms apply to the transaction. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
You retain all rights to the data, contacts, notes, and activity you log into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, copy, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
The Service itself, including its software, design, logos, and brand assets, is owned by Impact Leadership Group and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non transferable, non exclusive right to use the Service in line with these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that activity records will translate into business outcomes; the Service is a tool, not a guarantee of revenue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impact Leadership Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your account is used to harm others or the Service, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, miscellaneous) will survive.
We may modify the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; when we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, notify you in app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any right to a jury trial. Any claim must be filed within one year of the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
